  Nutrition training to our sponsored children and parents conducted by Baraka Community Care Centre Nutritionist. Our beneficiaries are now well informed on components of a balanced diet, importance of balanced diet and healthy living.

Hygiene Kits Distribution

Inauguration of new Baraka Office, Naromoru

Opening and blessing of the new Baraka office in Naromoru, Kenya. The Inauguration was witnessed by Chalice East Africa Coordinator, Madam Martha and Family, CMI priests, Apostolic Carmel sisters, CSC sisters from Embu and all Baraka Community care staff members. The day was a big success.  

Food Distribution

 Baraka Community Care Center staff distributing food basket to the elderly. Food basket contained; 4kgs maize flour, 3kgs rice, 1 litre of cooking oil, 2kgs beans, 2 kgs green grams, a bar of soap, petroleum jelly, 2 kgs of porridge flour and 1kg sugar. The beneficiaries were grateful for the support from Baraka Community Care Center. 

Cake- baking Training

 Baraka Community Care Center staff during a cake baking training to our beneficiaries. Later on, the sponsored children baked their own cake under no supervision. Cake baking is as well an income- generating skill.

Psycho- social support

Baraka Community Care Center recently lost a beneficiary as a result of old- age. Baraka Community Care Center Staff visited the family of the bereaved to offer psycho- social support. Baraka CCC Psychologist conducted a brief debriefing session to the immediate family member who was the daughter and caretaker as well

Capital Project Inauguration

Opening of the Dining Hall at Gitero Primary School. The inauguration was witnessed by three priests from Carmel Garden, Baraka Community Care Center Family and Gitero primary school teachers and pupils.
