Food Distribution

 Baraka Community Care Center staff distributing food basket to the elderly. Food basket contained; 4kgs maize flour, 3kgs rice, 1 litre of cooking oil, 2kgs beans, 2 kgs green grams, a bar of soap, petroleum jelly, 2 kgs of porridge flour and 1kg sugar. The beneficiaries were grateful for the support from Baraka Community Care Center.

Baraka Community Care Center recently lost a beneficiary as a result of old- age. Baraka Community Care Center Staff visited the family of the bereaved to offer psycho- social support. Baraka CCC Psychologist conducted a brief debriefing session to the immediate family member who was the daughter and caretaker as well

COMMUNITY GATHERING & MICRO-FINANCING

Under the leadership of Baraka Social workers, the parents of the sponsored children often gather together, collect certain amount of money, keep the proper account of it, put the money as savings in their particular name and even they take loan out of it for their businesses and respective needs. Baraka teaches the parents how to save money for the future use.
