OUTDOOR EDUCATION TO BARAKA & CARMEL GARDEN

The students from Carmel Hill School (run by Apostolic Carmel Sisters), Naromoru visited Carmel Garden and the Chalice site (Baraka) at Naromoru in the month of October. Rev. Fathers explained the social (Baraka) and Pastoral (Chavara Renewal Centre) activities done there. This educational visit could enable the children to develop social and spiritual awareness in their minds.

It also aims at healing and deliverance of the individual Christian. This program offers one day session (on every second Saturdays) and the three days (begins on every second Sundays) residential renewal programs . Baraka Staff visited the BBI families (families of old babas & mamas) and done the medical checkup for them. Rev. Sr. Gilda from Consolata Hospital, Kieni was available for it.

COMMUNITY GATHERING & MICRO-FINANCING

Under the leadership of Baraka Social workers, the parents of the sponsored children often gather together, collect certain amount of money, keep the proper account of it, put the money as savings in their particular name and even they take loan out of it for their businesses and respective needs. Baraka teaches the parents how to save money for the future use.
