MARY MUMBI house renovation

When Baraka Community Care Center staff  visited Mary Mumbi home in Narumoro, her house condition caught their eyes. The  house looked  old  and no  longer  in  good   condition . Yes, something had to be done. A plan to renovate the house was scripted and the work began. Few days later, Mumbi was ready to move into the newly built house. Getting results and changing lives, that's what matters, Henry Johnson said.

APPRECIATING AND ENCOURAGING TEAMWORK

Gloria Arroyo once said "The power of one,if fearless and focused ,is formidable, but the power of many working together is better." Baraka microfinance members were in all smiles  after they received a top up of 45,000 kenya shillings into their accounts. The money is non-refundable. They received certificates of appreciation from the site director, Father Martin in the presence of the social workers and the Equity bank operations manager Ms Rachael. Clearly hard work, team work and dedication pays. #hongera

At Baraka we were not left behind in this noble exercise. Our Eroot manager helped  pupils of Muthaiga primary, Tigithi Primary and Gitero primary plant fruit trees  in their respective schools.
